An emcee is born
Born and raised in Polokwane, Limpopo, Architekt is an upcoming emcee currently based in Johannesburg. He has been in the game for close to a decade now and still going strong.
Throughout the years he has been carefully nurturing his craft and feels it is time he takes the world by storm.
He recently released his long awaited LP, The Foundation LP which was predominantly produced by Jazzed 1 along side Junsta. He believes that limits are created by a lazy mind and directs his course accordingly.
From cyphers to the studio, to the podium, Architekt uses his passion to fuel his art and thrives to keep making good Hip Hop music while getting his point across and painting his story.
He believes that every artist should be unique which is something he believes the South African Hip Hop mainstream lacks at the moment.
He released his first project, The Foundation LP. Every song in this LP paints a picture whether it be through story telling, boombap, jazz or just some lyrical steez. Inspired by life itself, he taps into realms of consciousness, self-expression, street rap and carving imagery with wordplay.
